Tee Off to Christian Golf Tournament
Thorne & Storey, P.A. hosted their first annual "Tee off fo Christian" golf fundraiser on June 10, 2011 at Dubsdreadgolfcourse.
The fundraiser was for nine year old, Christian Kaltenschnee, who was recently diagnosed with brain cancer.
The successful day started at 7am in the main hall, as guests checked in they received a goody bag and were able to preview some of the silent auction items. Following the tournament, golfers cooled off in the banquet hall while enjoying a BBQ lunch, bidding on items in the silent auction, and raffling off great prizes. Thorne & Storey received donations from multiple local establishments that wanted to help a great cause. Some of the featured silent auction items were a one night stay at the Grand Bohemian, massage and facial from The Beauty Spot, Calloway golf bag from Golf Galaxy, mini fridge from Wayne Densch Budweiser, $100 gift cards to Hue and Luma, personalized autographed basketballs by former NBA basketball player, Nick Anderson, who was also in attendance and much more!
The fundraiser was a huge success and due to the overwhelming amount of donations over $10,000 was raised for Christian Kaltenschnee. Thank you to all the supporters and golfers who made this fundraiser possible that helped an amazing boy and his family.
